My enthusiasm for sports and physiology has been evident from a young age. I am a physically active individual who enjoys promoting the benefits of an active lifestyle.
I like to set myself a challenge and have taken part in sprint triathlons, cycling events and charity runs.
I am currently working for the National Health Service (NHS) in Quality Assurance for the Breast Screening Programme where early prevention is highly important.
I received a 2:1 Bsc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Physiology at the University of Leeds. Both my passion for sport and interest in physiology triggered my great interest in to how the body works and how we can look after it.
Shortly after completing my degree I went on to study for my VTCT Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy as I wanted to continue utilising the skills and anatomical knowledge I had studied.
I am a member of and insured by the Federation of Hollistic Therapists. I work closely to their code of conduct ensuring professionalism, confidentiality and client wellbeing.
During my spare time I enjoy attending various workout classes, running, meeting up with friends and family and going on camping trips. I have previously volunteered at the London Marathon as a massage therapist.
