My enthusiasm for sports and physiology has been evident from a young age. I am a keen netball player having played for 10 years at county and University standard.
I am currently working for a leisure operator, Fusion Lifestyle, as a Sports and Community Development Manager, which involves promotion of physical activity and encouraging others to adopt a fit and healthy lifestyle.
I received a 2:1 Bsc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Physiology at the University of Leeds. Both my passion for netball and interest in physiology triggered my great interest in to how the body works and how we can look after it.
Shortly after completing my degree I went on to study for my VTCT Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy as I wanted to continue utilising the skills and anatomical knowledge I had studied.
I am a member of and insured by the Federation of Hollistic Therapists. I work closely to their code of conduct (Download PDF) ensuring professionalism, confidentiality and client wellbeing.
During my spare time I enjoy playing netball, meeting up with friends and family and going on camping trips. I have previously volunteered at the London Marathon as a massage therapist and coach at the netball youth academy in Essex.
